Basere Investments Ltd. was incorporated in January 2003, but started manufacturing in March 2004. The factory is located in Ntinda Industrial Area on Plot 276/277 Factory Close.
The main purpose of setting up this investment was to produce high quality disinfectant products, both liquids and solids, which are currently being imported into the local and neighboring markets. The company has successfully implemented the initial part of this project by investing in modern machinery and is currently producing a number of disinfectant products under different brand names.
At the moment the main products are: Shine Naphthalene Balls (snow white and colored in 50gm and 100gm packaging); Riol Shine Disinfectant Balls (PDCB in 200gm packaging); Fresh Disinfectant Blocks (in 50gm and 150gm packaging), Spakol Multipurpose Cleaning Liquid (1lt, 5lt & 20lt packaging). These products are available in all major market outlets throughout the country. They have also been well received in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Eastern Congo and Southern Sudan.
Jyes and Bleach cleaning Liquids will soon be launched.
It is the intention of the company to be the leading producer of this range of products in the region.
